Braden Burke (7’0” RS jr) has entered his name into the transfer portal and appears set to leave the men’s basketball team after appearing in 17 games over the last two years for Michigan State. Burke played 12 minutes over 8 games this season, after 13 minutes over 9 games in his first year playing for Tom Izzo (following his red-shirt year after transferring from Robert Morris).
He was a little used forward for Michigan State, despite his size, but after spending three years in the Michigan State program I am cautiously optimistic that he can find a large playing role at a school with a slightly lower playing-level than the B1G.
