The recruits are coming in waves. Mel Tucker’s sales pitch is working.
Last week his Michigan State football program got commitments from a four-star cornerback from Denton, Texas, a four-star receiver from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and a four-star linebacker from Bradenton, Florida.
On Tuesday, the Spartans beat Baylor and Penn State for Jaylon Braxton, a four-star cornerback from Frisco, Texas. And then got a pledge from four-star offensive lineman Clay Wedin from Tampa. If you’re counting, that’s five top-shelf recruits in eight days, all from states where it’s warm.
