Just over a year ago, Gabe Brown contemplated giving up basketball for good. Yet, just over a year later, Brown has blossomed into one of the top high school basketball players in the state and is committed to Michigan State's 2018 class.
The night and day transition for Brown over the course of the last year is inspiring as he has elevated himself in the face of tragedy. His quest to become a great basketball player is his own. His quest to be a Spartan was for his father.
