Portland, Ore. - Michigan State junior Matt McQuaid hit six 3-pointers and scored a career-high 20 points as the Spartans used a big second half run to pull away from DePaul en route to a 73-51 win at the Moda Center Thursday night in the first round of the PK80 Invitational.
The Spartans improved to 3-1 overall with the win, while the Blue Demons fall to 1-3.
