Injuries are not one of Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio's favorite topics to discuss.
And he's certainly not alone as many coaches closely guard any information that could be valuable to an opponent.
However, they may have less ability to do so in the future as there's a push to mandate a national weekly injury report.
Speaking at Big Ten media days in Chicago last week, Dantonio said Michigan State would comply with the requirement but "You hate to talk about the specific injury - that's the only problem."

The campaign to institute an injury report is the result of the Supreme Court in May striking down the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act and allowing individual states to legalize sports gambling if they choose to do so.
