Mark Dantonio to join College Football Playoff Committee

Former Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio was one of five new members named to the College Football Playoff committee yesterday.

Other new members joining Dantonio are Maryland athletic director Damon Evans, Middle Tennessee athletic director Chris Massaro, former Mississippi player Wesley Walls, and writer Ivan Maisel. Each new member will serve a three year term.

Another former writer, Steve Weiberg, will remain on the committee and serve the last year of his term.

Other returning members are Miami, OH athletic director David Sayler, Virginia athletic director Carla Williams, Arkansas athletic director Hunter Yuracheck, former Nevada athletic director Chris Ault, former Oregon State and Nebraska coach Mike Riley, and former Arizona State player Randall McDaniel.
