Mark Dantonio thinks Michigan State should be unbeaten, expects team to play like it

EAST LANSING - Five games into the season, Michigan State already has two losses.

The Spartans (3-2, 1-1 Big Ten) dropped out of the top-25 rankings for the first time in a year and the national buzz about the program leading into the season has fizzled. That, obviously, isn't reflected in the view taken by those inside the program.

"From my perspective ... I feel like we should be 5-0," Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said on Tuesday. "My message to our players is, play like it, play like we're 5-0. Keep the same mindset as we go forward.
