EAST LANSING — The results — points, yards and a game-winning drive — provided Michigan State with a lot of what coach Mark Dantonio has been seeking the past few years.

Beyond that, though, there were two stats the 13th-year coach pointed to during his Sunday night teleconference as reasons why his offense put together back-to-back effective and efficient performances.
