EAST LANSING - Less than 72 hours after Michigan State wrapped up its spring game on a cold Saturday night in East Lansing, the team returned to Spartan Stadium.
This time it was to put the finishing touches on spring practice for the 2018 season with fall camp still more than three months away.
"I thought that we finished strong and that's what I always want to try to do, is you always want to try and finish going forward and moving up the ladder and I think we did that," Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said Wednesday afternoon on a Big Ten coaches teleconference.
