Mark Dantonio stepped into Yankee Stadium for the first time Tuesday, and the Michigan State football coach was greeted by something unexpected.
A 60-degree day in New York.
As well as a friendly reminder from Yankees president Randy Levine during their Pinstripe Bowl news conference.
“Just to let you know, something to look forward,” Levine said, “of course Wisconsin was here last year, and they’re in the Rose Bowl this year.
A slow grin crossed Dantonio’s face.
