EAST LANSING — All the chips are pushed into the middle of the table as Michigan State's football season is on the line Saturday in Columbus against Ohio State.
"I think everybody understands we're in a playoff-type situation here and that we need to win this football game," MSU coach Mark Dantonio said on his Sunday teleconference.
"There's a great challenge down in Columbus waiting for us, but there's also great opportunity."
The No. 9-ranked Spartans (9-1, 5-1) play No. 2-ranked Ohio State (10-0, 6-0) at 3:30 p.m. (TV: ABC) Saturday. ESPN's College GameDay will broadcast from Columbus leading up to the game.
