Luke Fickell put the finishing touches on the best recruiting class in University of Cincinnati football history Wednesday, adding a handful of signees to what was already considered the best 2020 haul among Group of Five programs.
By any measure, Fickell's fourth recruiting cycle was best among Cincinnati's peers and ahead of his predecessors dating back at least two decades, according to 247Sports.com team rankings.
Overall, the Bearcats landed three four-star prospects: quarterback Evan Prater (Wyoming High), linebacker Jaheim Thomas (Princeton High) and wideout Jadon Thompson (Naperville, Ill.). No other American Athletic Conference program landed a single four-star recruit.
