WASHINGTON — The stat caught the normally even-keeled Cassius Winston off guard.
Michigan State has only had four players foul out this season.
“Really?” Winston responded Thursday. “I don’t know, that’s crazy. We foul a lot in practice, too. We foul a lot.”
The Spartans have not had a player foul out in nearly two months. What makes that even more impressive is they have been operating shorthanded throughout that stretch — from Kyle Ahrens’ back and ankle injuries to Nick Ward’s hand injury to being without Joshua Langford since December.
