Piscataway, N.J. – On a night Michigan State shot itself in the foot from start to finish and watch another handful of players limp off the field, the much-maligned offense came up with its biggest drive of the year.
With the game tied at 24 with a little more than four minutes to play, No. 4 Michigan State marched 76 yards on 10 plays to pull out a 31-24 victory over Rutgers in front of 50,373 at High Point Solutions Stadium on Saturday.
Rutgers had just gone two straight drive, one that lasted 11 plays and the other 16 plays, scoring 10 straight to tie the game.
