Geiger misses FG as MSU drive stalls
Madre London was having himself a drive, but the Spartans went away from him for three consecutive plays, and the drive stalled. Michael Geiger was just wide left on a 52-yard field goal attempt.
London accounted for 35 yards on the drive, rushing four times for 21 yards, and picking up a big first down on a 14-yard reception out of the backfield. I expect to see a healthy dose of him going forward.
Hawkeyes grab lead, Canzeri injured
Iowa decided to roll the dice on 4th-and-4 from the MSU 20-yard line, but a false start penalty forced it to settle for a 43-yard field goal from Marshall Koehn.
