PREGAME
Michigan State will provide a public preview of its 2018 team in today's spring game (5 p.m., BTN) at Spartan Stadium. The Spartans return 19 of 22 starters on both sides of the ball from a team that finished 10-3 to set a program record for the biggest single-season improvement at seven victories. For the second straight year, the game will feature the offense versus the defense, instead of splitting up the roster with a draft, as had been done in the past. The game will have four 10-minute quarters and use a modified scoring system in which the offense scores as it normally does, and the defense earns points for a variety of reasons.
