Perry Hills hit D.J. Moore to get Maryland out near midfield and three plays later he found Moore again for a 41-yard score to give Maryland a 14-7 lead with 5:41 to play until halftime.
It took the Terps just six plays to go 90 yards on the Spartans defense.
