MORRIS — Ella Compton was the best individual of the field as she led Prairie Central to being the best team at the Seneca Regional girls' golf tournament Thursday at The Creek Golf Course.
The Hawks had the top three individual scores en route to posting a 382 to win the Class 1A regional title. Host Seneca was second with a 462 and Dwight took third with a 467. Like in the boys' regional played Wednesday, Prairie Central and DTHS each advanced to the sectional.
Compton came in with an 86 to garner medalist honors in pacing Prairie Central.
