EAST LANSING – Michigan State's defense hasn't looked like Michigan State's defense, and there's no shortage of thoughts as to why.
Sophomore defensive tackle Malik McDowell: "It's just little stuff, miscommunications."
Junior middle linebacker Riley Bullough: "You're not doing your job. You're trying to do somebody else's job. That's when you get bit in the butt."
Senior outside linebacker Darien Harris: "Just not playing as well as we should out there. We pride ourselves obviously here on defense. We've been in the top five (nationally) in defense for however many years, and we're not playing as well as we should.
