Larry Nassar, an ex-doctor at Michigan State University, has been sentenced from 40 to 175 years in prison on seven counts of criminal sexual abuse.
"I just signed your death warrant," Ingham County Judge Rosemarie Aquilina told Nassar.
Nassar, who was once a famed sports medicine doctor in the gymnastics community and also treated other high school and college athletes, faced more than 150 victims in court this week who said Nassar abused them during medical appointments under the guise of treatment.
