EAST LANSING -- With one shimmy of his feet, Laress Nelson showed Michigan State fans what they'd been missing in their team's punt return game.
Nelson, a Spartans true freshman wide receiver, attempted his first career punt return in the third quarter on Saturday against Western Michigan.
After fielding the ball cleanly, Nelson dodged one defender by skirting to his right, then faced another one head-on a few steps later.
In one of the best highlights of the young season for Michigan State. Nelson tap-danced his left around that diving defender, before darting 10 more yards upfield and out of bounds.
