Keon Coleman, Michigan State football's leading WR, enters NCAA transfer portal

Keon Coleman was expected to catch long bombs from Payton Thorne this fall for Michigan State football.

Instead, the two delivered bombshell news to Mel Tucker’s program: They’re both entering the NCAA transfer portal.

Coleman, the Free Press confirmed, followed his quarterback’s lead Sunday, the final day for college football players to enter the portal this spring. Coleman, a 6-foot-4, 215-pound junior wide receiver from Opelousas, Louisiana, has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
