DIMONDALE -- Kenny Goins' four years in East Lansing have included three knee injuries, two broken noses and a sports hernia surgery. For much of his career, he's played while wearing a knee brace, a mask, or both.
On Thursday, though, he played with nothing covering his face or legs, as he has all summer at the Moneyball Pro-Am.
Goins said he feels healthy entering 2018-19, when he could complete an improbable rise from walk-on to starter for Michigan State.
"I think that I'm going to have a bigger role, coach has been talking about me having a bigger role," Goins said.
