Former Michigan State defenseman Duncan Keith claimed his third Stanley Cup in six seasons as the Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning, 2-0, in Game 6 on Monday night. Keith was also voted winner of the Conn Smyth Trophy as playoff MVP.
Keith is the first Spartan to win three Stanley Cups, helping the Blackhawks to titles in 2010, 2013 and now 2015. Craig Simpson won a pair of Stanley Cups with the Edmonton Oilers in 1988 and 1990.
