With many members of the 2016 Michigan State recruiting class active on social media, it’s easy for fans to focus on a few such stars as Messiah deWeaver, Cam Chambers and Abdul Adams, and overlook the many other talented players.
One of the most talented players of the class, and coincidentally one of the quieter ones on social media, is Justin Layne, wide out from Cleveland, Ohio.
Layne is a four-star prospect according to Rivals.com and the 34th-best wide receiver in the nation. Standing at 6-foot-2 and 181 pounds, Layne takes big strides in the open field and is able to gain yards at a quicker pace than most receivers, similar to Tony Lippett.
