JT Barrett arrested: What does it mean for Michigan State?

Just one week after earning his starting quarterback job back from junior Cardale Jones, sophomore JT Barrett has been arrested for operating a vehicle while impaired, according to multiple reports.

This may seem like big news for teams who are set to face the Ohio State Buckeyes in the coming weeks, such as Michigan State, but Urban Meyer has proved in the past that when major players are guilty of breaking rules/the law, he can be very light on them.

So what does this mean for Michigan State? Unfortunately, probably nothing.

While driving while impaired and underage — he isn’t set to turn 21 until January — Barrett has reportedly only been suspended for the Buckeyes’ next game against Minnesota on Nov.
