EAST LANSING – Josiah Scott’s Michigan State debut earned rave reviews nationally.
His second game produced his first career interception — and a sign the Spartans might have found their next No Fly Zone cornerback.
The freshman has been the star of the MSU secondary that has allowed just 224 passing yards and held opposing quarterbacks to a sub-38% completion rate in their 2-0 start.
“It’s just taking pride in coming to practice every single day and working. We don’t really like to settle for anything less than being great,” said Scott, who also has three pass break-ups in his first two games.
