Coming out of high school, Joshua Langford was a highly touted recruit ranked among the very best players in the country. While that typically means offers from national powerhouses and the choice to play at schools across the country, Langford didn’t want to leave anything up to chance. Rather than let the recruiting come to him, he decided to recruit the one school he wanted to play for - Michigan State.
Growing up in Huntsville, Alabama, Langford reached out to MSU to express his interest and ensure that proximity was not a problem for him and that he would do whatever it took to play ball at Michigan State.
