Le’Veon Bell is one of the top-three running backs in the NFL today. As a former Spartan, that has to make Mark Dantonio proud, but it also gives his recruiting pitch an even bigger boost. If all goes as planned, Jeremy Langford could follow in Bell’s footsteps.

Langford was the back who replaced Bell in 2013 and he was a former defensive back. It was believed that after Bell left MSU early the run game wouldn’t be the same. Langford picked up right where Bell left off, racking up nearly 3,000 yards in two season as the starter.
