Jeremy Langford hurt his ankle in Week 3 of the 2016 season, and never recovered. Not in terms of physically, but in the eyes of the Chicago Bears.
The Bears released the former Michigan State running back right before the start of the regular season, and he wound up on the Baltimore Ravens practice squad.
One week in, and he's back on an active NFL roster.
With Danny Woodhead on injured reserve, Langford was promoted Thursday.
"It's an opportunity," Langford told reporters after Wednesday's practice. "Even when Danny was here, I was looking at it as an opportunity, a second chance especially after being released.
