EAST LANSING – Jacob Isaia knows plenty about the history of Michigan State’s glory years. And it has nothing to do with Mark Dantonio’s program.
The offensive lineman from Bishop Gorman High in Las Vegas lists the Spartans as one of his top suitors, regardless of their fall from the upper echelon of college football this season. It helps that his grandfather, Bob Apisa, was one of the primary players in the MSU golden era of the 1960s.
“One of the biggest people to advocate Michigan State is my grandpa,” Isaia said with a chuckle.
