Besides the annual kickoff to football season there is another annual fall tradition amongst MSU students; the opportunity to purchase tickets to the Izzone. The Izzone, MSU Basketball's raucous student section and undoubtedly MSU's best sixth man, is fresh off its 20th season. As it gears up for its 21st edition however, Spartan students will have a few changes in store in order to gain access to the beloved section.
In an email to students on Saturday, the Spartan Ticket Office outlined its new policy on how to obtain tickets to the Izzone. Students interested in attending MSU Men’s Basketball home games as part of the Izzone must buy a $55 membership fee that includes the “opportunity to purchase student admissions for up to seventeen games, an official Izzone t-shirt, invitation to the annual Izzone Campout (Friday, October 9), and additional group activities and events.
