EAST LANSING -- Michigan State basketball coach Tom Izzo today said that Ben Carter “I think (is) 100% done.” He also said that the chances of Gavin Schilling coming back this season continue to diminish.
The two big men suffered knee injuries in October preseason workouts.
Izzo said Schilling has not yet started running, which means “it’s looking slimmer” that the 6-foot-9 senior forward will be back this season. A more definitive update is expected in a week.
“He is doing more and more with the strength of that leg,” Izzo said. “But it’s gonna come down to now, is it fair for Gavin?
