Tom Izzo. Man of the people.
During Michigan State basketball's open practice Friday at the Final Four in Minneapolis, the Spartans' Hall of Fame coach did the honors of helping a couple reveal the gender of their baby.
The couple, both wearing Spartans green, held up a sign that read:
"Izzo's Help Needed! Future Spartan Gender Inside"
Izzo opened an envelope, and yelled, "It's a boy!" He hugged the couple, as MSU star point guard Cassius Winston cheered and also hugged them both.
