Penn State v Michigan State

Scenario 1

  • 11-3 record
  • Lose to Michigan
  • Lose Big Ten Championship Game

Scenario 2

  • 12-2 record
  • Win Big Ten title game
  • Get smoked in College Football Playoff

Scenario 3

  • 9-4 record
  • Beat Michigan
  • Beat Ohio State OR Penn State (but not both)

Scenario 4

  • Beat Michigan
  • Lose to Ohio State AND Penn State
  • No Big Ten title appearance
  • Win pretty good bowl game (Citrus Bowl, Holiday Bowl, Outback Bowl)
