EAST LANSING — Michigan State basketball won two Big Ten titles in two weeks and still entered this year’s NCAA tournament with fewer expectations than a year ago.
Just like they did entering this season, with Miles Bridges and Jaren Jackson Jr. gone to the NBA as lottery picks.
But the Spartans this year did something Bridges couldn’t do in two seasons and Jackson couldn’t in one: Advance to the Sweet 16.
