EAST LANSING — It felt like Mardi Gras inside Spartan Stadium.
It wasn’t just the raucous atmosphere of a highly anticipated season opener. It wasn’t the buzz from Michigan State football going 11-2 in 2021, then embarking on a wild and prosperous summer of recruiting.
For UNLV transfer Jacoby Windmon and pass rush guru Brandon Jordan, it marked another step in their success since leaving New Orleans to chase their passions.
“I made the best decision for my future. And that's what it was,” Windmon said Tuesday, with No. 11 MSU preparing to host Akron on Saturday.
