The Michigan State Spartans have landed one of the program’s top targets for the 2022 recruiting cycle, as highly-touted quarterback Katin Houser has flipped his commitment from Boise State to MSU.
Houser was a big priority for Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker and his staff, especially after AJ Duffy and Nicco Marchiol committed elsewhere. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound quarterback out of St. John’s Bosco in Bellflower, California has impressed throughout the summer camp circuit, and has quickly risen up the recruiting rankings board.
Houser is considered a four-star prospect by 247Sports’ individual rankings, and a high-three-star according to the full industry-generated 247Sports Composite rankings.
