Let's start this week with an angry fan of a program other than Michigan State who misunderstood something I had in a story last week. The story was about MSU's national ascent and how, though Mark Dantonio has been building for a while, the major success/attention is really only a couple years old. I tried to illustrate that with a memorable quote from Michigan receiver Drake Harris, from 2013 as he switched from MSU to U-M. Here's that portion of the story:
Earlier in 2013, former MSU commitment and current Michigan receiver Drake Harris of Grand Rapids told reporters he wanted to "play at a bigger school, win a national championship," when he explained switching from the Spartans to the Wolverines.
