EAST LANSING — Brian Lewerke was coy when the question was posed to him Thursday.
How will Michigan State football’s offense look under new coordinator Brad Salem?
“I can’t go into too much specifics about it, but obviously it’s a little more up-tempo,” the senior quarterback conceded Thursday. “I mean, you guys got to see a taste of it in the spring game, so a little bit of that feel.”
The Spartans did not put much on display back in April, when Lewerke admitted it was “vanilla” and “pretty basic stuff” at that point.
