EAST LANSING – Cassius Winston dished.
Nick Ward swished.
Joshua Langford splashed.
With Miles Bridges watching and wishing he could join them, Michigan State’s healthy freshmen took over and guided the Spartans to a 77-57 victory over Youngstown State on Tuesday night at Breslin Center.
“They’ve been on us about energy and our toughness,” Winston said. “I mean, at some point, you’re not just gonna sit there and let nobody call you soft or anything like that or allow someone to tell you that you’re not competing.”
Langford scored a career-high 15, including three three-pointers.
