DETROIT - With his Michigan State team leading Oakland by just five, Tom Izzo told his players in the halftime locker room that they need to start being more aggressive and take it to their opponent.
Lucky for him, one of Oakland's players helped wake Michigan State up.
With 12 minutes left, Oakland's Chris Palombizio grabbed Miles Bridges' arm as the Spartans sophomore drove for a layup.
Bridges was visibly incensed after the foul, as he turned around and briefly charged at Palombizio before being restrained by referees.
"Miles was definitely about to do something crazy," Spartans point guard Cassius Winston said of the moment.
