EAST LANSING, Mich. – It’s a plot straight out of a superhero movie where contradictions don’t exist, so of course, an irresistible force and an immovable object not only don’t cancel each other out, they team up in pursuit of a common cause.
Michigan State’s offensive line, “the force,” and defensive front four, “the object,” are touted among the best in the nation heading into the 2015 football season. Their respective position coaches, Mark Staten and Ron Burton, weren’t handing out any such bouquets Monday during Media Day at the Spartan Stadium Media Center, instead taking a let’s-have-a-practice-in-pads-and-play-a-few-games-before-drawing-any-conclusions approach.
