EAST LANSING – Michigan State beat Maryland 17-7 on a snowy Saturday in East Lansing.

Here are snap-judgement grades for the No. 22 Spartans (8-3, 6-2 Big Ten) in their win against the Terrapins (4-7, 2-6):

Brian Lewerke played in snow for the first time in his career and it was a struggle for the Arizona native. The redshirt sophomore finished 2-for-14 passing for 20 yards – his lowest total as a starter and the fewest single-game passing yards for the Spartans in three decades – with zero touchdowns and no interceptions.
