Game notes: For the sixth straight season, Tom Izzo's team finds itself on the Saturday of the Big Ten tournament. Much like last year, MSU beat Ohio State on Friday to get to Maryland. Last season, the Spartans won in the semifinal, 62-58. MSU was also victorious in the teams' lone meeting this season, 74-65.
