Obviously, this season didn’t go as planned on the football field for the Michigan State Spartans. But after finishing 6-6, MSU finds itself playing in the Pinstripe Bowl in the Bronx this week, with a chance to finish the 2019 season with a winning record.
Standing in the Spartans’ way is the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, who enter the contest with an 8-4 record. This is actually an intriguing matchup — the first ever meeting between the two schools. Wake Forest has a high-powered, fast-paced offense, but really struggles on the defensive side of the ball.
