EAST LANSING -- Prescott Line was advised to be ready to potentially carry the ball in his debut at as a Michigan State player on Friday night against Furman.
While that chance was in the back of his head during the game, Line didn't expect the fourth play call of the Spartans' first drive to include his number.
That's what happened, though, as the fullback carried the ball minutes into his Michigan State debut and earned a first down to help the Spartans march to an opening-drive touchdown.
"It was awesome," Line said. "I was happy I got it.
