Four-star DE Josh King hints at future Michigan State commitment

Just hours after the commitment of top Ohio quarterback Messiah deWeaver, Michigan State saw a bit of foreshadowing from another big target. Josh King, a four-star defensive end from Illinois and the No. 51 player in the entire 2016 class according to 247Sports, tweeted at deWeaver following the commitment that may have excited some of Spartan Nation’s biggest fans.

While the 2016 class is far from over, it’s starting to look like Michigan State’s will be in the top 25 in the nation, and some future Spartans have even higher expectations.

deWeaver’s commitment marks the third in the class as four-star wide out Cameron Chambers and three-star offensive lineman and brother to two current Spartans, Matt Allen.
