East Lansing — Michigan State sophomore forward Marvin Clark will transfer, the university confirmed on Monday.
Team spokesman Matt Larson said Clark, a 6-foot-6, 230-pound native of Kansas City, intends to transfer just more than a week after Michigan State’s season ended with a first-round upset at the hands of Middle Tennessee in the NCAA Tournament.
Clark appeared in 69 career games and started eight, averaging 4.2 points and 2.3 rebounds. He was a key part of the Spartans’ run to the Final Four as a freshman in 2015 but was hampered in the offseason by a broken foot that set him back this season.
