Former Michigan State and USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar had his medical license officially revoked Thursday morning.
Nearly 100 women have alleged that Nassar, over the last 20 years, sexually assaulted them while he was supposed to be treating them as a team physician.
Nassar worked as a team physician at Michigan State until he was fired this past September. He was appointed the national medical coordinator for USA Gymnastics in 1996 and attended three Olympics before the organization fired him in the summer of 2015.
Nassar's license was suspended in January and revoked for three years at a disciplinary board meeting Thursday, according to a spokesman for the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
